Marilee started SmartBPO to meet the need for well-rounded operations teams in the energy industry that could handle customer facing and non-facing processes as well as system migrations. She has managed Operations and Customer Care for over 20 years. Marilee has been the project manager on several billing and telephony system migrations within the Energy industry. She has spent much of 2018 as the project manager on one of the largest EDI and Billing system migrations in the energy industry to date.
Prior to starting SmartBPO, Marilee served as VP of Operations for various companies from 2003-2016. Marilee obtained her Bachelors of Science in Emergency Administration and Planning from the University of North Texas and received her Six-Sigma Black-Belt Certification from Villanova.
Annie joins SmartBPO with over 7 years of operational experience in the Retail Energy Market. She has proven success in both customer care operations and technical operations, including billing, customer enrollment, customer retention, exception and transaction management, and product development. She also has a proven capability in training and developing team members to ensure goals and metrics are met effectively, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
Before joining SmartBPO, Annie gained experience in the Retail Energy Industry while being employed at first TriEagle Energy and later Crius Energy. Annie attended Texas A&M University at College Station.
Samantha Marin has been in the Energy industry for 7 years. Samantha’s experience comes from startup companies where there is one objective (success). Her experience is in Customer Care, Billing, Transaction Management, Billing Platform Migrations and Company Acquisitions. Samantha has assisted/managed several successful billing platform system migrations. She has also assisted with several company acquisitions.
Samantha has also worked closely with different industry vendors in successful completion with system improvements that benefit each organization.
Whitney has worked in the Energy industry for Retail Electricity Providers for the last seven years. Her experience is focused in billing, enrollments and A/R collections for both ERCOT and PJM. Whitney served as A/R collections supervisor in her previous role. She is also well versed with several different billing systems.
Chevoyn joins SmartBPO with over three years of billing experience in the Retail Energy Market. Her experience in the Retail Energy Market began with customer care operations, she was then promoted to the billing operations team.
Prior to joining SmartBPO, Chevoyn refined her skills at Tri-Eagle and Crius Energy. Chevoyn attended Texas Southern University in Houston Texas.
